sounds like Blount is upset with his lack of playing time. post-gazette has an article about it.

Yeah I could see taking the rock from Bell so Blount could get more carries. Especially in the 4th quarter, I mean this is why we picked Blount up, right?

I think he may get cut this week , we can find a good RB off a practice squad I would dump him if he can't be a Team player ....

Difficult to understand that mentality. The problem is that he hasn't performed when we've really needed him to. Being the hammer to close out the game when we're up by a few scores is one thing. But you need to be the hammer to get into the EZ when you're chasing the game against the Jets and the like.

I'm not sure I'd go as far as cutting him just yet, though.

Although maybe the decision will be made by the players?

Blount just isn't that good and never has been. He's not even that good in short yardage situations. No way you take the ball out of Bell's hands when he's running like he was.

Blount has been a problem everywhere he's gone. If he's a problem in the locker room, he should be cut

We don't need another divided locker room, they are just recovering from that with Wallace and Mendy. I'd do like the one teammate said, leave him in Nashville.

And although, Bell is a grown man, responsible for his own actions, it doesn't help to have someone like Blount pushing him in the wrong direction. Bell is the future, Blount is not, lose Blount. Should have been telling that Belichick didn't want him with the way he finished the season last year.

Yep, if he left the field without the team, he needs to go.

Seriously. But obviously he's so well off that he doesn't need the money.

On his 4th team now. Bucs, Titans, Pats, Steelers.

If Bount gets released before the end of the season he will count $475,000 against the 2015 salary cap. The Steelers only have 2 RB's on the roster now. 3 if you count Dri Archer.

It's pretty obvious that Blount was happier in New England ... but I have no idea if the Patriots would take him back at this point.

I was just saying on the way home last night that Blount didn't do jack. We supposedly brought him here for the goal line situations and then last week try to use him that way and he goes backwards! He really hasn't shown all that much since Carolina honestly and that was more them than him.

For a big man, Blount has never really been a great short yardage back.

Doubt it. What happens in NE seems to stay private, but there's a reason they didn't want him back despite him playing really well for them. They didn't seem to have much confidence in Ridley either so I don't think it was because they were set at that position

If you cut Blount, that leaves us with only Dre Archer behind Bell. Who I have been less than impressed with thus far. You could move up Josh Harris from practice squad or try to find somebody off the street. There aren't many other avenues to go. If it's me I make Blount inactive for the Saints game. Go with Bell, and Archer. You still have Will Johnson who can tote the rock if need be. Give somebody else a helmet who wants to be there.

Yeah, I was going to ask ... do we cut Blount, or do we suspend him first and then cut him? Cutting him now might be rewarding him for bad behavior if some team is in need of a RB.
