Coach Tomlin held his weekly press conference a day early this week due to the Christmas holiday, and gave updates on injured Steelers players.

LB Terence Garvin has a knee sprain and is questionable. WR Emmanuel Sanders also has a knee sprain (lateral meniscus) and is also considered questionable for this week. Tomlin is optimistic about Sanders’ knee. Markus Wheaton has a finger fracture that will require a splint. Coach Tomlin said they will tape the finger to another for support. Jason Worilds has an abdominal injury that will limit him in the early portion of the week.

Tomlin said Jarvis Jones is recovering from the flu and was looking much better this morning.
