The Updates Are Finished
Sorry for the downtime this afternoon. As you can see, the home page has been changed. This was long overdue as I’m sure many of you will agree. Due to some unexpected obstacles today, there will be a little minor work in progress needed aesthetically to finish the main page. The forum is exactly the way it was earlier today. The only updates made there were under the hood, so everything will appear as it usually does. Thanks for being patient.

Coach Tomlin Press Conference Notes 11/27/12
The presser started with a quick review of Sunday’s performance. Coach T said it was a failure and still looked that way yesterday on tape. ‘Very rarely do you lose a game and just be able to so clearly point to a few areas of failure being the reason why you lost.’ Tomlin said there were two main reasons for the failure: turning the ball over and being highly penalized on offense.

Here’s the transcript from Coach Tomlin’s very brief post-game press conference after today’s loss to the Browns.
“That was an ugly performance. That is ours. We own it. When you turn the ball over the way we did today you are not going to beat anybody. That is just the reality of the National Football League. I am surprised it was that close given the turnover situation. We are not looking for comfort. We understand that we are not going to have much support after a performance like that. We probably deserve that. We have to go back to work and get back to playing fundamental football. We were highly penalized; we turned the ball over. When you do those things you are going to lose. David DeCastro Returns To Practice
The Steelers announced today that David DeCastro will return to practice for the first time since he was injured in week 3 of preseason. He was placed on Injured Reserve on Sept. 7th, with the “Designation To Return” tag.
DeCastro had surgery to repair a torn MCL on August 29th, and also suffered patellar tendon damage, as well as a dislocated kneecap in the 1st Quarter of the preseason game against the Bills on August 25th. You can watch DeCastro’s injury again here: Continue reading
