To what extent or in what capacity LeBeau would join the Cardinals staff is anyone’s guess, though, it’s probably safe to assume the main focus was for filling a potential DC vacancy. Todd Bowles has been in demand for recent head coaching vacancies, and he has second interviews set up with multiple teams. Dick LeBeau could possibly step right in and improve that defense.
Arizona and Tennessee seemed like the most obvious landing spots for the long time Steelers defensive coordinator. It’s unlikely that the Titans will be parting ways with Ray Horton after just one year, but they could be interested in LeBeau in a consulting capacity to help a defense that struggled to transition to a new scheme.
Arizona is our
“out to pasture” team !
The opposite of a farm team….
But Lebeau is too good for that yet Perhaps!
Ha, yeah! I can see it now. James Harrison, Troy P., and Ike Taylor sign 1 year deals there. James Farrior and Big Snack come out of retirement. It sounds crazy, but…
