LeGarrette Blount Fined For Throwing Football Into Stands

The NFL has announced that LeGarrette Blount has been fined $5,512 for throwing a football into the stands during a touchdown celebration Sunday night. $5,512 is the minimum fine for the first offense of throwing a ball into the stands.

According to Will Graves of the Associated Press, Blount plans to appeal his fine. I’m not sure why, as he clearly threw the ball into the stands, which is listed under the league’s schedule of fines.
