this is how i will know if we are truely back

    the bucs next week are horrible. these are the games the past few years that we find a way to lose. if we can dominate them like we SHOULD, I will say the Pittsburgh Steelers are back

    I don't know about being back, but you're right, we've had a tendency to play down to the level (and even below the level) of lousy teams, even at home.

    Yesterday was a good win but they are still going to have some growing pains along the way. Plus, have to see how long they will be without Shazier and Jones. Ike is done.

    Nope we are not back . I was at the game and had no doubt we would win .The Panthers simply didn't have the type of O to hurt us. We played aggressive and it worked.

    When we face a Team with more threats at WR then we get in trouble because we go loose to stop the pass and they start gashing us with the run ....I hate to sound like a broken record ,but until we get better lock down CB'S who can play elite WR'S we will keep looking the same way/

    I'm thinking LB Jones and CB Richardson will be pulled from PS to cover for Shazier and Ike. Agree Ike's finished and most likely Shazier will be MIA for an extended time. :shrug:

    Shazier has a knee sprain. No idea on severity. But if it's mild enough, he may only miss 2-3 weeks. Spence looked good, so we should be fine there.

    Jarvis Jones may need surgery, so he'll miss significant time. Moats did well in his absence, so we should be ok there short term.

    The only bad injury is Ike. We don't have much behind him.

    Also Spence played well when Shazier went down. Did not notice any difference between the two.

    I was looking at it from the depth stand point..yes Spence looked good and For the Ike replacment you do you see stepping in ?

    That's the problem. Our best option is Gay. But I prefer him as a nickle. He seems more comfortable and aggressive there.

    They should be alright at ILB, there's no big dropoff between Spence and Shazier at this point. Moats should be able to cover for JJ, they will miss Ike because they don't have the depth at CB.

    He's slower than Cortez Allen though. He couldn't even make the Saints roster. Or any other roster for that matter. I really just think we should ask BA to let us borrow Patrick Peterson for a little while. I mean after all the guys we've sent him it's the LEAST he could do! LOL!

    They are paper champions! Actually no, these guys are terrible. Steelers biggest competition this week will be the Steelers. Will they beat themselves?
