Little disappointed that J Brown isn't there but I think this gives us a little insight as you said. Glad they are working together already.

Also Ben is getting a first hand look at some of the wrs entering the draft. I'm sure he will report back what he saw and who he liked and didn't like.

Wonder what this means as far as Moye making the 53 man roster next year and maybe even a helmet on game day. If, Wheaton takes Sanders' spot and Moye takes Wheatons' we may not have to draft a WR. Meaning we can improve our defense, pick up a TE, and look for a LG.

Good to hear. Wheaton might need to step up in a big way starting next season. I think we need to cut bait with Sanders, he just isn't getting the job done. That leaves us with Brown and that's it. We need help at WR. I hope Wheaton is the guy, but we need to draft someone either way.

I am more excited that there were "combine" guys there. Ben will know a little bit about each of the guys who were there if we DO end up taking a WR.

They still need a WR Cotchery and Sanders are free agents. This draft is deep at Wr so they need draft more talent at the position.

Cotchery will be back, he's affordable and loves playing here. Wheaton, Moye and J Brown have been here a year, they have a head start over anyone we bring in, I won't be surprised if we don't grab one in the draft. We also may address it in FA, like they looked to do last year with Breaston.

Also, he knows his chances of playing for a Super Bowl caliber team at this stage are slim and the Steelers are his best shot!

To me this isn't about Ben working with his receivers as much as it is the Owner of this Performance Camp getting publicity. There's a lot of these Tom Shaw like places and Ben trained here before he was drafted. He's there adding credibility to this place because business may be down a bit. Plus getting a chance to work with his young guys a little extra is a bonus.

I just think we shouldn't put TOO much into this.

Glad to see Ben and these young receivers getting together. It's going to help their chemistry some and I only see it as a plus.

Depth is never a bad thing to have. Granted, we may not spend a high pick on a WR, but I could believe us spending a later pick on one.

Ben and Wheaton need to get on the same page and develop some chemistry.

Glad to see this. Ben and the recievers were completely out of sinc at the beginning of ast year.

They need this badly, and happy that they recognized that they need to start the season better then they did in the past.

I don't think Ben and Sanders every really had chemistry. It seemed like so many times those two weren't on the same page. I think it's definitely time for Wheaton to either sink or swim, because we need to let Sanders walk, he's simply not going to get the job done

I wonder how much of this had to do with the knee surgery he had. Of course, preseason - September, nothing looked good.

What could possibly be bad about Ben staying n shape in the offseason, and getting some work in, with his (potential) younger recievers?!?!
I just don`t see the downside, unless, this possibly violates CBA rules, about off-season workouts, which, I didn`t hear anything about in these stories...
    Way to go Ben...
Way to go, kids... Get to know each other, it will only help you get to your goal...
    GO STEELERS!:herewego!:

i though i heard that players can get together on their own as long as its not a quote practice that involves coaches. its not much different than guys getting together in the offseason to train.
