I kinda wish the Ravens played the early game so that one way or another we'd know and we could all enjoy what should be the final game of the year

All kidding aside but Greene has been a LB coach for awhile now right when does he get mentioned for a DC job?????

Who said to make him a DC? Jettison Porter and put Greene in charge of the LB's. I'd have a lot more faith in him coaching them up than Porter.

Edit: Oh wait, are you advocating him for DC? I took your post as a knock against him because he never gets mentioned for a DC position.

Well, maybe he thought Keenan Allen and Jared Cook WERE on IR. That would explain some coverage “strategies”...

I don’t even know how you make that mistake. I could see being tired or whatever and mistaking Eifert for the Bengals actual TE. But their actual TE, Uzomah, is not a receiving threat at all.

Is the guy literally not watching tape? That seems almost impossible to fathom but how else could you misspeak in that way?

Actually, makes a lot of sense. And speaks volumes to the lack of strategy and tactical adjustments we've seen. Also plays into the "we do what we do" mantra.

No I am talking about him not being mentioned as a DC anywhere. I remember when he first started with the Packers under Dom Capers and he worked with Clay Mathews and I thought he did a great job there. I guess he now coaches the Jets LB's and I am not sure how he has done there.

As for Greene and Porter well that goes back to when Joey got in trouble there were a lot of us wanting Greene to replace him then so I would love it now. I know there is a ton of stuff out there about Butler and you know I have been one of the few to stick up for him but man wouldn't it be nice to see Butler and Porter gone and Bowles and Greene hired by us?

IMO I think Greene and Shazier could make a nice combo of inside outside LB coaches replacing Porter and Oslavsky!!!!!

This makes total sense TBH,he is now going to start designing his defensive gameplan for the players not on the field ,if your other approach hasn't been working than the opposite must be right ..I'm convinced Butler is from
    Seinfelds bizzaro world now

Labriola just tweeted that it was himade that made the error saying that Butler simply said " their Tight End is good" Bob assumed he was referring to Eifert.. I call BS on this. Damage control and make the beat writer take the fall

There is also an article out there that said during the interview Butler simply went by player's jersey number and wasn't linking them to names and he and Labriola had several moments of trying to figure out what player the other was talking about. It doesn't bode well no matter what for Butler.

Uzomah is actually the leading receiver among Bengals who will actually be playing Sunday. He and Mixon both have 42 receptions, but Uzomah has 139 more yards on those catches. His best game this season, of course, was six reception for 54 yards against the Steelers. It was the only time he has been over 50 yards receiving this season.

Maybe in his confusion, Butler will assign Fort to cover Eifert and actually put Joe Haden on Joe Ross.

In all seriousness, I assume Butler was thinking of Uzomah, but it really is a stupid mistake. Maybe that will finally be enough for the Steelers to get rid of him.

On the bright side, Butler will guarantee that Eifert has 0 catches this week.

I just can't get past this. Between this, the Oakland X-Ray Machine and the Boswell IR debacle, I just don't understand what's going on with this team.
