Wtf is wrong with people

Apparently after the game kevin Dotson tweeted an apology for his play yesterday. People responded with death threats against him. Some people seriously need to get a ****ing clue. Anyone that does such a thing is an embarrassment to the Steelers, their own family, and the human race.

 

Its become common especially in college football. A hitman is a lot cheaper than Jimbo Fishers buyout and that happened earlier this month.

 

You won't hear this often, but I agree with you on this, strummer.

Social media has given weak ass people a voice. Stuff that they would never say to a persons face and fear getting their mouth busted.

Then there’s the trolls. Just stir up drama and getting joy out of other peoples misery.

 

I don't really have the whole day.....so I will break it down with this....
There is a big percentage of the world's population that is .....what's the kind word for it??? Not very intelligent, and I'm not talking book smart/classes smart.....Just the general problem solving type of intelligence is missing.
In this type.... the Mob mentality usually rule. It's also this type that all sides of politics feed off of.

This right here. We live in a world where everyone feels entitled to say whatever they want, and there's no fear of repercussions. I remember growing up, you had to be careful what you said and who you said it to or you would get smacked in the mouth. I learned respect for others, boundaries as well as how to fight by growing up in that era.

That era is dead. On top of being mostly anonymous, we also live in a world where you can't smack people in the mouth anymore. Many will say that's progress and a good thing. That's a different discussion, but the point is it's not really possible to do that anymore without ending up in jail and/or sued. The lack of fear gives people power. No repercussions makes people feel entitled.

Progress or not, I will always believe that growing up in the era of fearing a smack in the mouth made me a better person.
