I can say this. I don't know if Woodley is in danger or not with his celebration but I do know that Shawne Merriman hurt himself once doing that little "lights out" dance that he used to do. So it is possible to hurt yourself in celebration. And don't EVEN make me remind you of Elvis Grbac slamming his head against the stands and giving himself a concussion.

I don't know, I'd say it would be prudent to get up and get back to the hudle with no jumping around like an idiot, but that's just me. I just hate the contrived sack/pas defended poses.

Old school, but I don't remember Shell or Greene doing an "eat you up" move after they made a play. I think it was more of a "Don't bring that **** my way!" and a walk back to the huddle.

I don't disagree, but it's the culture in the NFL these days. There's no going back, and it's only going to get worse.

One time Rod Woodson said that when he returned his first INT for a TD that he pointed at the guy trying to tackle him and when he got over to the sidelines Joe Greene met him and said "we don't do that crap here!" and Woodson said "Yes sir!" and that was that. So I think you have a point Lizard.

I took 14 yrs of martial arts. One of the things that use to concern me was if I got into a fight in the street, I wouldnt have time to stretch and get warmed up. I was concerned about the head high kicks etc etc. What I found out as I got into shape and stretched several times a week, your muscle arent as tight as someone who doesnt stretch. To be honest, I havent trained in several years and can still throw a kick at least rib high with no problem.

Having said all that, these guys stretch probably 5 days week. So they are probably pretty limber and in good physical condition. And who knows, maybe Woodley has some martial arts training and its no big deal.
