I know everybody is talking about stopping Mike Vick, and he does
present a very unique skill set,but what about Shady McCoy?
He is coming home to Pitt were he was A STAR for the Pitt Panthers
I am sure he will be bringing his a game. I wish we had Shady and a few
more former Pitt Panthers on our team. Can't understand, they practice in the same building
and our talent coordinators can't see it?

I think he will get his yards but i think we can still win with him getting his yards but we must contain vick or it will be a long day

Andy Reid is not consistent with calling a balanced Offensive game.
Now that he ran the ball last week, he probably will forget all about it this week and throw the ball 50 times.

His smartest plan would be screens to McCoy.

Best thing we can do is control the clock like we have been doing. The defense just needs to keep getting off the field and not allowing quick scores. Throw in some turnovers, which Vick has been doing a lot of either via INT or fumble, and we could have a field day. Deep down I think the defense is going to play mad, they have had a long two weeks to chew on that Oakland debactle, with Harrison and Polamalu back everyone can just try to do their job and not try to do everybody else's.

He should be our priority #1. I see shutting down the Eagles offense as being the same as the Ravens...

McCoy/Rice are your first priority because if they're running well then Vick/Flacco will have a much easier time.

I agree and if they decide to run the ball I think he can blow past our guys pretty easily. McFadden hadn't done jack all year but what did he do against us?

McCoy and Vick ran all over the giants defense because they didnt set the edge in that game, with two edge runners do you think this coaching staff with two weeks to prepare for this game will force them to run inside? So it's all about can we set the edge against this offense, if we cant, it's going to be a long game, and with a deep threat like Desean Jackson they will be tempted to test this weak secondary a lot with deep shots down the field, I'm not sure we can match up in this game and thats why my expectations wont be very high Sunday........

man i wanted him in that draft. he and heath would have been an awesome team of TE's.

as far as mccoy we have to make tackles. we have to hit him coming through the line. :matrix:

Still hoping that the Steelers will get the Job Done. Prove it to me! Right now, I can't see the Steelers stoping Vick, McCoy, and Celek. Hell, they couldn't stop Palmer and the Raiders who are back in their regular spot, the worst team in the league.

So most folks feel that the Steelers are going to get mad and beat the Eagles? They got to prove it to me. If they lose this game at home against the Eagles, they are done. I guess we will see.
