Will the Trey Lance trade go down as the worst Draft trade in NFL History?

I saw this this today on a video, and thought to myself is that as bad as bad can get for San Francisco.

I thought the 49ers were stupid for giving up 3 1st round pick to move up and select a QB from a small college in the first place. Right now it doesn't look like Trey lance will break 1,000 yards passing after 2 years in the NFL.

Trey Lance for Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Bradley Chubb. Miami seems to be laughing all the way to the Bank on this one.

 

Winner....Look at that Qb Green Bay just had to have. LoL. All the crap they put up with from A. Rodgers....You just know that kid must suck.

 

3 firsts probably trumps the Ricky Williams trade of the entire draft (no 2nd) + 1st and 3rd.

 

The 49ers were stupid. However the Dolphins paid more than one first rounder for Hill and Chubb. Look at the money they immediately paid out. Ouch!

 

Even without seeing how they used those picks, three first-round picks for Lance was insane. If the Steelers do end up with a top-five pick in 2023, I hope they find a trading partner who is equally desperate and stupid.

 

Is it funny that Mike McDaniel's was involved in the Trey Lance trade by sending those 3 1st rounds picks to Miami as the 49ers offensive coordinator, and then to only jump ship to the Dolphins a year later to use those same picks to completely turn his new team around? Talk about getting off a sinking ship.

In the end is McDaniel's considered a winner or loser in this trade?

 

The cowboys trade of Hershel is probably the worst trade in history imo. Worked out great for Dallas though. There’s no doubt in my mind they would have won three Super Bowls in 90’s without making the trade. A close second would be Ditka trading away all of his draft picks for Ricky Williams

 

The Ditka trade was freaking Horrible. Who does that???

Not looking good right now but too difficult to tell. Lance has insufficient data to draw any conclusion. As such, it would be premature to state whether or not the trade is bad.



Now... Denver for Russell Wilson.. on the other hand?!
