Will Johnson video

Here is a really cool short video of our new full back. Great little story about a guy I already liked because of his game, now I get to root for him even more on a few levels. Underdog, over looked, Steeler family, etc... I think playing on a team you are fan of not only makes it sweeter, but might give extra incentive to work some degree harder to stay put. I'd love to have a whole team of Steeler fans.

very cool. i spoke of him right after the signing. he has really excelled. i saw a video on him training before the wvu pro day and heard he was signed by MT that day. he had that wr background, then went to TE/FB hybrid that we hated around here, but this kid just looked different. fast ,strong, has picked up his assignments. i don't think he's used enough. great kid too. what a nice find.

 

Will Johnson is one of my favorite new Steelers this year. I'm really glad he is on this team. I'm excited to be able to see what this guy does in the years ahead.

 

When I first heard of and learned a little about Will Johnson I became a fan. He was still not on our 53 man roster but I was really pulling for him over our other FB/TE named johnson. I really wanted a true FB type guy and not a hybrid.

After seeing your posted video I'm a bigger fan and really hope his game improves to where he is a solid staple in our offense.

GREAT video!

My favorite part was at 5:19 where he heard Coach T say, as he was walking off the field at the WVU pro day, "hey, Will, whassup!" Sent chills down my spine. Can you imagine how that felt for this kid to be pursued after the pro day by Tomlin and then to be signed immediately. WOW!
