I am curios to see what social distancing will look like on the sideline. Will players and coaches be required to sit 6 feet apart? Bigger Benches?

And, Please no Fake crowd noise!!!

"Fake crowd noise" The Bill Maher show on HBO is broadcast from his home now and for crowd noise (laughter) the show uses crowds from the 60's that were filmed at comedy shows. It's in black and white and is pretty much the funniest part of the show. Let me tell you, the women sure dressed different back then:)

Only way I see a season is if the majority of the NFL players contact & jump through the hoops of covid before the season starts. Dense gatherings of people will be spreading this until most have had it. Not trying to create a "boogie monster" just reviewing what we've witnessed.

Those talk shows from home are just terrible; and I can't understand why they can not be done in the studio with social distancing?

The news has gone back to the studio.

In the case of the news channels MSNBC, CNN, Fox they have higher ups that make the call and accept responsibility if something goes wrong or ppl get sick. The talk shows typically the on air talent such as Colbert, Conan, Fallon, and so on have a higher input on their own shows. Sometimes doubling as producers as well and have a tougher time putting their staff at risk for entertainment purposes.

Ignorance is the problem. At least I hope it's just ignorance, and not that we have a huge number of people in the US who just don't care about other human beings. Here's some ugly data to show what's happened for those who thin it's fake. This is the CDC's data on excess deaths from all causes in the US for the past few years. The time period from the end of March through the present had about 134,000 excess deaths above normal, and 106,500 deaths above a 95% confidence interval upper boundary. SOMETHING big happened and killed around 130,000 Americans more than usually die between the end of March and today. If not C-19, what? Was there deep state conspiracy death squads going around murdering people (especially older people) to affect an election? This is easily found at https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm

So the new thing Im hearing is about how even people with Covid but not affected now could be affected later on. First you were killing people by leaving your home when healthy now 10 years from now the virus will actually kick in. Can’t even be mad at this point honestly it’s genius.

The Propaganda Ministry will be in full swing here shortly. People will be conditioned. Mother Earth will rebound in the long run, mankind won't make it.

I am not buying into the mass hysteria. If that makes me selfish then so be it. The USA is falling apart at the seams to push agendas and it has a lot more to do with which side of the political fence you are on than Covid 19 alone. United we stand. Divided we fall and career politicians know that. I'm not saying coronavirus is not real but it certainly is another tool being used to try and control demographics thru inflating numbers. JMHO.

If it wasn’t for Mainstream and Social media you would have been living life Normally. Maybe you got sick like you have plenty of times before and your immune system you know did it’s job. And then you moved on with your life as if nothing happened. Unfortunately some of those same people living life normally maybe got sick and didn’t make it. Maybe they were older or sick. Happens all over the world everyday since the existence of man. But this is different because...... well we know why. At least those paying any attention.

My Great Grandfather lived to 102 and was a teen during the Spanish Flu. Wish I would have asked him how that was back then in a more simple time. Then again I was a kid and not thinking about things like that but if I could go back would have been interesting.

I'm fairly certain that they took preventative measures when the Spanish flu was getting out of hand Jujubean. As they did the Black Plague centuries ago. The covid seems to present a need for social cooperation. No I don't believe half the #s that are thrown around but i do believe that it is a pandemic.

That’s fair. I still think the mask thing can cause Health issues when being asked to be used all day in an office for example. But for me I stay home as much as possible and when I have to run into a store I put my mask on that I have no idea how to wear and hustle in and out.

What are they spraying these masks with, ever think about that? :roflmao:just kidding

Being a diabetic now I always park about as far away as I can from where I'm going to get the exercise in. The mask thing gets me everytime still. I'll walk to the door, see must wear a mask, have to walk back to my truck to get it...fun times

I wear them When required per Caesar Newsome's orders in Ca hahahahahaha... Seriously though. I will not disrespect the fact that this virus has made its mark, manipulated or not, in whatever fashion. I only question why now? With all of the other influenza strains that boast high numbers and such, why now? Why tank a booming economy, why enforce mandates "unconstitutionally"? It's a numbers game with Main stream media on hyper overdrive just feeding and feeding bits of truth and horse**** and you mix it up and fling it against the walls for folks like us to bicker over. Oldest trick in the book.

The amount of rapid info we consume is a good/ bad thing either way yinz cut it but it's there nonetheless. People don't question headlines they just dive headfirst into it. That is a problem. Saying my so and so works here and there seems legit enough since you figure they are at their ground zero with boots on the ground right? Everyone has streamlined marching orders and those are things we need to look at in my opinion. To not self investigate is an actual disservice as I see it.

Think about it... How many commercials say this drug is for you and then 6 months
Later a new commercials about benefits come outl for those that listened to the first commercial?

THERE IS NO MONEY IN A CURE!

Just like there is no reason for attempting to erase history when true history is not being told.

There is a fight going on and win or lose, for good or better, it will play out
One way or another and not all will be happy at the end result but I am rooting for common ****ingsense to atleast have a last gasps chance against this parade of ****ing idiocy being marched around currently.

The unconstitutional mandates that take away freedoms started with 9-11. Even sooner...income tax comes to mind.

Masks don’t cause health issues. My wife is a medical researcher and sometimes needs to wear N95 masks and PPE for upwards of 12 hours per day, and this has been going on for 20+ years now. Neither her nor anyone she’s worked with over the past 20+ years has had any issues, and the N95 masks are more restrictive than surgical masks or cloth masks. Wearing a dirty mask may cause issues. Wash those cloth masks regularly.

I agree that we're a divided country, but Covid-19 should have never been politicized. As for numbers being inflated, look at my post from 6:18 PM yesterday. Those are total numbers of death certificates for all causes by month in the US with no attribution for cause of death. Just raw numbers of deaths. The blip above normal in early 2018 was the really bad 2018 flu season. The spikes on the far right of the chart are Covid-19. What happened?
