250 million to play a game. Something is wrong about that. Then we have Greg (I suck) Polanco of the mighty Pirates with a 35,000,000 contract for 5 years. Something really wrong about that. At least Ben has brought Championships and a lot of exciting wins to the Burgh. Posuckco is a highly overpaid single A hitter on a MLB team.

IMO this money thing is way out of hand and something is going to break at some point or maybe I'm just too old for this money BS. Thanks to Covid I understand you can print money when you need it but our kids today going to see Billion dollar contracts in sports world when their my age???????????

 

My friend, you need to get off of the Pirates. They have the worst owner in all of sports and he doesn't want to sale team. We can only
hope that someone will make him an offer he can't refuse. So far that has happened, he is killing professional baseball here in Pgh.

 

i actually watched them come from 5-0 down and beat the mets 6-5 in the 9th. the bats came alive from guys i never heard of before. then acctually got 3 outs in the bottom of the 9th to win it. so you say there's a chance.

 

Can we just see how this year pans out? I'm not afraid and was hoping Ben retired already.

They have waited far to long to draft his successor. 2022 better be the year.

I have been fortunate to witness 6 Super Bowl Championships. Without cheating

He can do all the Brady nonsense with his diet and exercise but you can't reverse the beating he has taken, the myriad of injuries he has had and just last year the knee's and repaired Throwing elbow.

I hope obviously that he does well and goes out on a high note and not a 5 turnover game on his shoulders.

I don't feel he will be walking away with a championship though. Hopefully he can walk away.

Ben has been a huge part in bringing to Pittsburgh 2 more Lombardi's. I will always be grateful.

But it's time to look to the future after this season. He is not it...
