Clemson is great, but LSU has a slight edge

GO TIGERS!!!! The LSU ones! Since my daughter-in-law is an alum and has me wearing LSU jersey's every damn day I'm pulling for the LSU Tigers.

If Tiger Woods watches the game, Tiger would be watching a Tiger going against another Tiger. Even Tony the Tiger would find that terrrrrific.;)

I certainly hope we see better football than what the NFL
served up this weekend. I saw some bad football from some rusty teams.
Poor, poor tackling all the way around.

My head says LSU but my gut instinct says Clemson in a close game.

    Clemson 34
    LSU 30

Back to back for Clemson and 3 in 4 years.

Man, the refs are letting the DBs mug the receivers. I wonder if they’ll call it that way all game long.

Burrow and Lawrence could be the Peyton Manning and Tom Brady of the next NFL generation.

Now the Clemson D has no chance to stop LSU.

I can only hope that the Bengals screw up and don't draft Burrow. I would hate to face him twice a year.

Yeah for my daughter-in-law!! She just doesn't understand why I'll never like Burrows again.

Imagine dreaming of being an NFL QB and getting drafted by the Bengals. I can only hope they nurture him wrong.

That game played out how I thought... In the 1st quarter.

And then LSU made the right adjustments and Clemson did not. I like Dabo, but if you saw his pre game interview and then Coach O's, it was tough not to think LSU was going to dummy them. Orgeron is so passionate

Clemson CBs could not complete man on man in this game. I know Venebles wanted his defense to be aggressive but he needed to play some more cover 2. #8 and #1 for Clemson were abused all night.

Trevor Lawrence is still the superior player in my opinion. Joe Burrow had a better supporting cast this time around. Clemson will return next season and, with LSU's Joe Brady headed to the Carolina Panthers, Clemson is likely to win it all.

Of course, Alabama and Ohio State are likely to return though. That said, it would not shock me if there were some surprises heading into the 2020 College Football Season; Auburn, Georgia and Florida to name a few.

You know, I could see the Chiefs drafting a big hitter like Jonathan Taylor. Imagine having him pounding the ball and Mahomes throwing. How could you stop them? A power back to take 20 handoffs a game and bang out 100 yards.
