I named a Golden Retriever I had after Huey Richardson and Jeff Graham…Huey Graham. They were the Steelers first two draft picks the year I got him.

What kind of WR would Kordell Stewart have made had he fully committed himself to the receiver position? I think he would have been a beast. He was big, strong, fast and had great hands! I understand his desire to want be a quarterback, but man what could have been.

Swann and Stallworth were great but to me the best Steeler receiver that I saw was Roy Jefferson. He led the league in receiving yards and was first team All-Pro in 1968 and 1969 and he did that with Kent Nix and Dick Shiner throwing him the ball.

Imagine him with Ben or Terry throwing him the ball!

Logically that should have been my choice! Thigpen is obviously one of my all-time favorites. He was awesome, but his length of stay here counts against him for me.

It's been said before, but with today's offensive schemes Stewart would have had a very different career. He could line up just about anywhere.

Jefferson had two great seasons and some very good ones. He did not match the sustained excellence of Stallworth, Swann, Ward, or Brown.

Brown could have been No. 1, but his lunacy got in the way.

Ward probably belongs in the Hall of Fame, but that doesn't make him the best in team history.

Swann was more spectacular, but to me, Stallworth was the best receiver the Steelers have ever had. He wasn't just great with Bradshaw throwing to him. He continued to be among the best receivers in the NFL in 1984 and '85, when he had the likes of Mark Malone and David Woodley throwing to him.

Does my avatar help you know my answer to your question? :)

And I don't care which of the two you pick. As 88 once said, they're 1a and 1b.
