Remember how big snickers candy bars were when We were kids....now they are half the size, and cost 10 times as much.

I fully acknowledge that and don’t expect to win out. Do you acknowledge that it’s no fun sitting in front of the TV the last week of the season hoping that a 10 point underdog somehow, someway manages to pull out a win so that the Steelers can back into the playoffs yet again? That’s my point. Take care of business early in the season, stack wins as Tomlin likes to say and that way you don’t have to rely on another team to do your bidding.

A single Snickers bar had a weight of 62.5g in 1980. This weight was reduced to 58g in 2009, and to 52.7g in 2013. That is 16% less chocolate, peanuts, and nougat. The price of a Snickers bar in 1980 was $0.25, which is equivalent in purchasing power to about $0.90 in 2022

Have you ever spent time in central Pennsylvania? Talk about people obsessed with peanut butter. Reese's cups were like 3:1 over any other Halloween candy there.

I still hand out full size candy bars for trick or treat. The kids love it. Each kid gets one instead of the normal handful of bitesize tidbits. Anything that is left over is at least edible. Doesn't really even cost all that much more.

They weren't hoping for help from an underdog Sunday. The 49ers were undefeated and favored.

Also, that the game between the Jets and Dolphins was decided by a 50-yard field goal with 18 seconds remaining. Nobody should have been surprised that it was close because the Dolphins were playing one of the league's best defenses with a third-string quarterback.

Also also, the Steelers won their final four games and six of their final seven in 2022, so I'd hardly call that backing into the playoffs if they had made it. I thought they had a real shot to win in Buffalo if they got there despite the beating the Bills put on them in the regular season. The Steelers were playing much better and the Bills had been hit by some injuries. Yes, it sucked that their horrid start left them in that position, but I don't see how the situations were comparable at all.

Just like my beloved Gatorade. Few years ago I was getting 32 ounces for a buck. They now changed the size to 28 ounces and it is 2 bucks.

Eye candy comes in a variety of sizes too. I find that the older I get the larger sizes are as good and the smaller ones.
