Mostly ground beef but pork loin also. Get your system down and its easy. I precook before pressure canning, looks much better than raw pack. Get that sweet fat cap at top of Jar . Keystone makes a solid canned beef but the price is now thru the roof. Hard to get.

Going to give out the secret to Fried Rice . I finally cracked the code on accident after 30 years.
I will find a proper place to start the thread.

I had an Amish crew work on my house for 2 years and they brought a lot of canned meat for lunch

They would have two pieces of bread at least an inch thick and what looked like a 1 1/2” slab of meat in the middle

Me I’m more a medium rare ribeye guy cooked in a cast iron skillet on the grill

After my two week seafood binge that will be my go to

Amish Yoders sells canned Bacon I haven`t tried it yet. Want to move into freeze drying.

Steak prices insane, I buy roast and cook on grill like Steak nice and rare if im going all out that day. Then left over sandwiches. Or get on markdown if lucky

Do you have something against fresh or do you just wind up with a lot of meat from time time

Heck I don’t even like meat after it’s been frozen

Although I like SPAM so I probably loose all credibility there

Toulouse sausage, mash potato, gravy, kale and other greens.

Watched Titans when they came to London the other week. We can bury these.

Slovak style haluski. Homemade dumplings (Polish style has noodles).
No Slavic blood whatsoever but I could eat this stuff every day! Mrs. Quadrupleyoi is going to Florida for a week to do some paperwork, and by the time she gets back I may be done peeling the wallpaper off the walls with my cabbage farts.

Some people have hogs/cattle takn to the local butcher, and must freeze it, or do something with it. Same with deer. You don't want to throw out what You can't eat in a few days.

Good part of the world for food. Knew some Slovak people at one point and they made the nicest cured salmon dish ive ever had. Foook knows what they did to it but I respect the hell out of it.

I grow 4 cabbages each spring

That doesn’t sound like a lot but it makes a mountain of haluski and related farts

Just came back from the seafood monger

Shrimp and grits it is tonight

    Clam chowder for lunch

    I don’t understand people

I’m on the coast of NC and the lady in front of me at the supermarket was buying Campbells clam chowder and frozen tasteless farm raised shrimp WTF

I have a friend who comes down here and when he goes out to dinner he orders snow crab legs exactly where does he think they came from WTF

When I wanted King Crab I went to Kodiak Island AK

JEH, if I ate four cabbages in the same calendar year, they would have to evacuate my area like that train derailment in East Palestine. The loss of life would be historic.
Been a diver for 44 years and I am thinking of getting an aquanaut certification, but no one wants to be in an underwater habitat with me for 24 hours. I would have to do it alone. And that is WITHOUT eating any cabbage. I am forbidden by Mrs. Quadrupleyoi from eating sauerkraut and that delicious bean curd that they have in Mexico.

    I have 3 crocks 20 10 and 5 gallon

We will can this around Christmas

You will probably be aware of this fact at the time

I love fresh cabbage. Keeps me regular. Canned some up a few times and it always comes out sweet like relish:shrug: I stick with meat.
