Screw spaghetti with chili…. That’s just wrong. I will probably go with kung po chicken.

The English seem to enjoy beans on toast. I see it in a lot of fiction books I read by English writers.

WOAH you just can't add ingredients to my recipe.
I already went the extra step by toasting. LOL

BTW, beans on toast was invented by a Heinz executive in Pittsburgh in the 1920's.

Tomorrow on the way home I will pick up Bob Evans Turkey and stuffing dinner just in case I haven’t had enough

    It’s actually pretty good

Nephew said he could get us two tickets In Cincinnati but I still can’t walk real far so had to pass

Very informative. Also, a tad bit upset with myself for making fun of it all these years. If I had known it was a Burgh guy I'd have had a whole different take on it.

Mac brought something to memory I just may have to try. spaghetti and chili, nah, but when I went into the Army they put chili on rice. At first I was appalled, but after tasting their other food it grew on (and in) me. Forty five years later Im wondering if it will pain the stomach as much as our O, if I am going to puke might as well have my stomach full.

We have a member who lives among the Sunday enemy. Can't remember who but I bet he'd like those tickets. Damn shame you can't go. I don't expect it to be an elite NFL game but I'm guessing it will be a down to last minute exciting game for fans of both teams.

Burgh inspired and the correct name for the stadium, sounds like a winning combo.

When I was a little kid at a buffet my dad put a Brussels Sprout on his plate and my mom told him he still won’t like it and they laughed

He was an army doctor and she an army nurse in England and apparently they had Brussels Sprouts for dinner every day for 4 years

Personally I think they taste like a cross between a cabbage and an old tennis shoe

They never say what type of beans in the books. I wonder what the preferred bean of choice is?? I enjoy all types of beans. Just can't see sitting down to kidney beans smother over rye toast.:puking2:

British baked beans are traditionally made with navy beans, which are a small white bean.

Never would eat them, then last summer a neighbor grilled them on a flat top with buttor, onions and some other secret ingredients (show not included) and I was sold. Thurs my Son in laws mother served them as vegetable, I am now unsold, I was sick, lmao.

Leftover wings from yesterday.Bengals neighbors invited me to go watch the game with all of them. I immediately said “No F’ing way!” Told them maybe we’d hang out after the game but I have to watch the game at home.
