well should be a run fest. hope the middle of the field is up to it.

i'm thinking a basic grilled cheese and tomato soup could be involved in this weeks game food.

    what you got?

Oh, you know, I've got a gourmet spread planned: a touchdown of nachos, a field goal of buffalo wings, and a side of penalty flag-shaped cookies for that sweet victory taste. It's a culinary masterpiece.

I see the important games from our point of view are all 1:00. Go Browns, Go Texans.

For such an important Sunday it has to be football food. Wings, chips and beer.

This market had live fish at one time but I doubt it anymore.

i like mine dead. i hate the restaurants that cook the whole fish and throw it on a plate and it watches you. ewww, just creepy. don't need to see head and tail. i'm a filet type guy. unless of course it's lobster. those i have cooked and picked out alive. never was a huge fan of it though. no taste to me. pretty bland. i never saw the big tadoo over it.

No freaking Way lobster is delicious, and even better when made with other things. For example: Lobster tacos are divine.

I got burned out on lobster years ago. Just ate it too many times. Long story but, not only did I eat them, I had to kill and cook them too!

When I retired I took a job for a few years cleaning a bar. Starting finding lots of change. Wife and I decided to look on ground when we walked and save everything we found for a lobster dinner New Years Day. I actually found a hundred dollar bill among leaves. First year we amassed 232.00. Lobster dinner at the time was 50 bucks a pop. After 3-4 bites I wished I got something else. I like just a little lobster but my wife goes nuts for it. I'll take jumbo crab legs over lobster any day.

As far as lobster goes, a lot of people in this country used to call it "cockroach of the sea" and stayed away from eating it.

I seem to remember my grandfather saying that when I was a boy (mid 1960`s), but also acknowledging at the same time that views were changing about that.

I lived in Alaska and worked at a place the offered fish at every meal. Big bottles of fish sauce everywhere. Big monster salmon steaks. Yuk ! But it looks so pretty. Just kills me I don`t like seafood.

The only thing I don't like about lobster is the price, I can't remember the last time I ordered one in a restaurant. I do like to get a couple to throw on a low country boil, for eye appeal and usually someone there has never tried lobster before.
