Sundays are my days to not cook. I think the schedule for this week is either Chinese (Mu shu pork and an egg roll) or Japanese (Singapore Mei Fun and pot stickers).

Smoked pulled pork with garlic mashed potatoes. Amongst other sides.

My family Thanksgiving tomorrow. Starts at 3. I'm the cook. So much for watching most of the game.

I'll be having wine. Maybe even some beer. First time drinking since before the surgery. Should fit right in with the rest of my family.

Blue collar towns, blue collar food. Classic beef meatloaf covered with a dense lattice of apple wood smoked bacon topped with BBQ sauce. Some smashed taters and fruit salad. If I make it today, will probably make hot meatloaf sammies tomorrow on this wild cranberry/pumpkin seed bread they have at the local market.

I have, but, like I said, Sunday is my day NOT to cook. Take out is my love's specialty.

Seeing how I bought bag of lemons to make my fantastic "Limoncello" (drank all the orange due to Steelers) I shall use some of them to make chicken franchise with fresh green beans and baked potato.

Man, I hate I think this way but with the injuries to some of the AFCN QB's my hopes have risen a bit. I will be very disappointed with a L and that dinner won't help.

When I was a teenager, and most of My summers were working on the farm...until ball practice...cold meatloaf sandwiches were my favorites.

You know Me ....I eat the same thing until We lose. So I've eaten chili the last two games, and I will eat chili tomorrow. I hope to be eating it again next week.

I'm going to give that sandwich my classic "MF":) In the early days of my marriage when my wife made something I really liked I'd look at her and say M..F..er as I chomped the food. It was a sign of affection. Back to your sandwich, that sounds outstanding!!!!

That brings me back to days at my grandma's as a kid. She'd put thick slices of vidalia onion on them. Good stuff.

Used to gross my mom out. She only likes onions if they're cooked, hates them otherwise. Her mom, my dad, and I were big into 'em however - on sandwiches, in potato salad, cole slaw, etc. My grandma would have to make a separate batch of summer salads without onions for my mom. :smiley1:

I like them anyway possible. I'm a food fan. I can't really think of anything I don't like. I can think of things I like better than others, but I have never seen a food I won't eat.
