somewhere I was asked what moves would I make. Make........for what? the Team for several years has been disjointed, not sure what direction it wants to go and what the team ID is. a move for what? To sqeek out 2 more wins this year? why? I would do a fire sale this month - get whatever we can. TJ was lucky to get his deal done, because not one more BIG contract is done until we clean some house. I'd love to start with the FO, but Rooney would have none of it. a few moves does not take care of the true carnage that needs to turn over before we can compete again at a high level. In the offseason, I wanted Darnold or Stafford, if that helps at all.

There are no magic moves to be made. No amount of pixie dust will get Bengy and the Stillers #7. They may play better, **** can gel and they steal a playoff spot at 9-8. And get killed by KC, Buff or the Chargers. But that’s the best case scenario. More likely: Continued Ugly offense, some inspire and sometimes elite D, 8-9. And probably worse.

I like the general idea, but why Tuitt over Heyward? Heyward only has a year or two left and would bring more, IMO.

By the way, nobody's giving up multiple picks for anyone on that list.

Why not trade him and try to get a high pick?

Conner was a problem. He was continually crying off in games with minor injuries. He was not a dependable #1 back. He would be an ideal #2 behind Najee, he is miles better than Snell but James Conner was not able for a full workload at the RB position. His new role in ARZ is perfect for him

Totally agree that they should have been drafting linemen for a few years but the trades for Bush and Minkah made that difficult, they just haven’t had the draft capital. The Bush trade is looking like bad business now unfortunately.

So what, Conner shares the RB role with another RB in Arizona.

No moves will make a difference with the same leadership. May get a couple more wins but we've already wasted many years with several talented teams that were above and beyond current talent levels or what we could make with in season additions. I fear this will continue for a couple more years as I can see the excuses already being drafted by the organization to hold certain people accountable. I'd hate to be a Coordinator on this team right now though.

We will find out soon, I think the trade deadline is either 1rst or 2nd week of November.
I personally see 2-3 Steelers moving on. Hopefully we can get draft stock for the QB sweepstakes.

my only point is that INSTEAD of Najee, it should have been ALL OLINE for the first 2 picks, esp knowing that Pouncey was gone and you were not going to sign Villy + they knew (unless they are stupid, which at times they are) that DDecastro was on his way out too.

    lack of vision by FO.....

You dance with one who brought you. No moves, let it play out. Juju would be the only one possibly that would give you draft capital now.

I can't see them getting rid of anyone. Art II brought Ben back and probably still thinks the ship will stop taking on water. Getting rid of anyone would signal he was wrong in his assessment and well the head honcho doesn't want that.

Better draft position is what I want. Need a down season to continue the rebuild.

Don’t get your hopes up. We won’t be trading anyone away. If we do, it will be an insignificant player for a low draft pick.

Agree. 8-9 isn't gonna get a good draft pick.
