They probably won't find that top 15 QB in this draft.

 

LG, MLB, FS, LT, WR, SCB. All of those need to be addressed either late FA signing or draft pick.
I wish we would cut Queen, but maybe after FA/draft they will if they get a potential day 1 starter that is a better FOOTBALL player than Queen.

 

We need to get younger. I don't hate what we have ,but we don't have a true number 2, and we need that number 2 to be young so we have a while with him, and Porter.

 

And neither is the future.
We need a real number 2 that will be cheaper, and have a long time to play with PJP.
I'm not sold anyone we signed is a real number 2 in anything other than name.

 

Well see. In the past 10 years several top 15 NFL QB's of significance that were not top 10 picks have been selected.

Bo Nix, CJ Stroud , Lamar Jackson , and Love come to mind.

Maybe Dart joins that list next year.

In 2027 Simpson is 50/50 to join him IMO.

The QB position is the most important in football.

Since we do not even a top 25 NFL QB, we should take that chance.

 

No one from Navy, we'll have to wait 4 years. Rodger Staubach was drafted by Cowgirls and they had to wait 4 years while he threw passes on an Aircraft Carrier. He was a Nam Vet. Never started in the NFL until 27-28 years old. Well worth the wait as he got them 2 SB's.
