Tomlin is harder on Dotson because he expects more from him is my guess. Kevin takes the heat & channels it into a positive reaction will do wonders for the new recruits.

He was absolutely terrible. Maybe it's just one game, but if that's the best he's got, Moore's going to be starting.

just saw they moved moore to right tackle in practice. i had a feeling at some point this may happen. he needs to be on the field, but i thought he and dotson on that side made for a good combo. to be honest collins didn't look to bad at LT either. brandon walton looked good at LG along with collins. sounds like MT is trying to force guys into the line that maybe shouldn't be there. ala, feiler last year at guard instead of tackle.

I would interpret that change as getting Moore ready to be the swing tackle behind Chuks and Banner. Chuks scares me, but it seems like the job may have been given to him already.

Moore might be starting for Banner. He hasn't taking a game snap yet and I feel behind the scenes his knee is still bothering him reports being cleared for full health September 13th

I agree about Chuks. At this point unless someone else can take the RT spot till Banner is ready Moore should start or a TE needs to be on the left side for the chip. Not a comfortable situation.

Would make sense if he didn't bench him for Feiler in the playoff game. I think MT just doesn't like him for some reason.

Tomlin is loyal to his vets unless you sleep during film study.

I think they are still looking for the best combo that works.
Also some of us said Moore would be good.

Dotson can play, he will be fine. It is the other OL that scare me.

I am more into my own eye test, hopefully these other two mentioned will
get after it with our other OL and TE's so we can have a successful running game/offense?

Mac, your better at judging these big uglies than I am. I am more/experience with skilled
position players. Lets hope your opinions hold true?

Dan Moore Jr. seems take no poop from nobody.

Anyone who scuffles with Cam Heyward has no dang fear.

His play I have watched in pre-season seems solid as well, so maybe we found another later round jewel in him.

Probably because he doesn't want to buy one of those dumb "Obviously" shirts. What's next "Ummmm"?

i watch this kid and moore is one of the most mobile linemen in the run game that i have seen. similar to pouncey when he first got here. can hit several targets on the move whether it's right to left or at multiple levels. i am very impressed with him so far. i told you all you would like this kid. klemm is seeing it and MT is seeing it. i'm hoping okrafor is watching it .... from the bench. i'm sure there will be some growing pains but overall pretty impressive.

The OL hasn't had an opportunity to gel yet with the musical chairs experiment so far. The week 1 starters won't be battle tested and will probably be a little underwhelming for a few games. But this group has some nastiness that we haven't seen in a while. If we can keep the injury bug away, and this OL gets to play together for a little while, we should get better as the season goes on. I don't think they're going to grade out as a unit above top 15 when it's all said and done, and that's okay. I'm expecting some fireworks from Najee's second season, though. Hopefully we've got a capable QB under center, if not the long-term starter at that point.

Can't be right. I have it from reliable sources here at TSF that our o-line is a dumpster fire, and that we threw away our season by not drafting o-line in the first two rounds.

For sure, PFF isn’t the be all end all but that was still nice to see. Hopefully those scores are pretty accurate.

That would be awesome if they found their future LT in the 4th rd, and they can let Chuks walk after the season.
