What happened to Germie Bernard last night? More snaps than Wilson, but just completely MIA.

No one is talking about Bernard in last night's game, because he somehow managed to completely disappear AKA was covered up by the defense all night long.

Roman Wilson has everyone's tongue wagging today, but where the hell was Germie Bernard last night? Is Bernard just that bad at creating separation against an NFL corner? Bernard had 1 more snap than Wilson last night but had 0 catches and only 1 Target.

Was Geremy running the wrong routes, or just not able to create separation, so the QB would throw him the ball?

I am assuming the coaches are going to watch the All-22 and ask where the hell is Germie Bernard?

 

From my viewing I think they got straight up Steelered but the Jets. Jets secondary was playing tight within 10 yards of the LOS, forcing the WR's to fight to get past them. Then because the line had chemistry problems and young QB's the front seven were able to get pressure forcing them to throw the ball quickly without letting the WR's time to work free to the open areas. The type of defense the Steelers used to run against everyone effectively. Hurleman disappeared too.
