What about those refs today!

I will say this about the officiating. For a league that makes a billion dollars to have refs this incompetent is ridiculous. If the refs have that much trouble with the rules then simplify them. Truly define what a catch is, a fumble is and make it clear. Also define what is holding etc. There are too many judgment calls when it comes to officiating. Personally they should call every penalty to the letter of the law one week and have games last 6 hours. There is no way that holding of some sort either on offense or defense couldn't be called every play.

I am not a fan of the officials but at times they have a job that is impossible to be correct. My issue is it seems the NFL isn't doing anything to make the situation better. You still get the terrible calls week after week.

Agreed. That roughing call was ridiculous.
