Tomlin’s conservatism with Trubisky isn’t evidence that he wants a conservative approach on offense irrespective of personnel. Trubisky was signed to be an interim QB at best, and there was never going to be a wide open offense with him. When Tomlin had a strong QB, the offense was not conservative at all.

There's an article out there that has the 10 "worst" teams in the last 40 years when you compare a winning record to being outscored. Both of Canada's teams (2021, 2022) are on the list. 2022 we were 9-8 while being outscored by 38 points. In 2021 we were 9-7-1 while being outscored by 55 points.

Seems to me Tomlin is creating a QB the same way he wants to have a winning record. Fans are the only ones that want to win playoff games and championships. The owners seem to agree with Tomlins approach.

LOL... I love Dan Marino with a 15. Shows just how dumb this test really is for football IQ.

Marino never won a game with his athletic ability; it was all about his football IQ.

All I can say to all this is. Tomlin was the Head Coach with BA, and Haley as our OCs, and in no freaking way was the plays , or play calling the same....nor was any Qb being held back....then We got a old broken down ....elbow repaired Ben, lack luster Qbs after Him.....including Trubisky who has gotten what ....2 Ocs, and 2 HCs fired already on another team, and add Canada, and now everyone thinks the HC is holding people back. LoL. Come on. I have never played for Mike T, but I have never ever see an coach tell a player.....hey ....You know when DJ was so open last week running into the middle of the field that the nearest D player was about 15 yards away.....Hey.....don't throw that. LoL. You people are kidding Yourselves if you believe that. Yes....Yes....Yes....He is preaching be careful with the ball....don't turn the ball over, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts....He never ever says....Hey don't throw to the open Targets.

Lamar Jackson scored a 13. The thing is with all of those other quarterbacks is that they were extremely gifted athletically. Marino may be the exception but his arm strength and quick release was unprecedented. Kenny doesn’t have freakish athleticism going for him.

Bradshaw the only one that won SBs, or even a SB, and if He came out today....it's sad to say....He would have probably been cut by whomever drafted Him...since it took Him 5 years to throw more tds than ints. Nobody keeps a Qb that way for 5 years now.

Thankfully, he had a head coach like Chuck Noll who recognized that if he could ever get the wild stallion broken in, he’d have something really special. Bradshaw’s freakish athletic ability and huge arm kept him on the payroll and it finally paid off big time.

Agreed...., but today they would have had to pay Him big money to keep Him that long.

Wonderlic tests cognitive and problem solving abilities, not football IQ. Someone can be dumb as rocks and have a great football IQ. I know a good amount of successful people that would score embarrassingly low on this test who are geniuses in the field they excel in.

Hard to win by being conservative like that against a good team when your defense doesn't create so many turnovers....We saw the same movie like in the last few years...The steelers were 6-3 and now 6-4 despite of our awful offense. Can't beat good team when we don't have many turnovers in defense or the opponent don't makes a lot of mistakes like in the Ravens game...You can't rely to that if you want to win big at some point

Wasn’t he also benched as a starter? Sometimes it takes a dose of reality to light a fire under someone’s behind
