Minnesota teams are very untrustworthy! I knew after the Wild game vs the Pens. That the Wilds cousins in the Vikings would blow it against the Ratbirds this weekend. It..just…sucks we cannot rely on anyone else helping us out.

Living near DC, I got to see a lot of Cousins' games with WFT. Lots of stats but he crumbles when the clutch play is needed almost every time.

I had a fun time looking at other teams message boards today to see their reactions to the officiating last night. My favorite was the Browns message board. One guy said that he seriously thinks he suffered internal injuries from screaming at his TV at the refs. There were some that wanted the referees to be arrested under the RICO act. The Brown's fans actually had a worse reaction to the officiating than the Bear's fans.

Jesse James caught that ball, Joe Haden didn't commit pass interference

I don't get it, were they arguing that the Bears weren't offsides? I mean, how about the Bears gather themselves and stop committing penalties? Literally the play after an offsides, someone else on the D did the exact same thing. Say what you want, but the refs didn't need an eye exam, the Bears needed some discipline.

Exactly...also what about all the Bears false starts they didn't call. I yelled my throat horse yelling at the TV about it. LoL

TJ said it makes it difficult to rush the passer when they consistently get a half a second step on the protection. It was at that moment I wondered if the refs were getting blurry-eyed.

The pessimism expressed by some is that this is what we saw last year. The team was winning, but in many instances not convincingly, and eventually that catches up with you, unless you recognized your deficiencies despite your record and fix them before they catch up with you.

As Parcells said, "You were what your record says you are." That doesn't, however, mean at each and every point of the season. By the end of the season, though, it's more often true than not.

First, eff the Bears and their fans if they think they got screwed. I don't care. I've watched both of my favorite teams, the Steelers and the Penguins on the wrong side of bad calls. I didn't expect nor ask for the other teams fans' understanding.

Secondly, our fans are going to ***** and moan about nearly everything. I'm over it. I'll debate someone if I have a strong opinion about a given topic, but I'm not an NFL coach and never even played one on TV. We are all Steeler fans, but we all don't think and act alike. What a boring place this would be if we did.

And finally, my take about the season to date is this. The boys are ahead of where I thought they'd be. I think they are an average NFL team, talent wise. I'd love to watch them ragdoll a team occasionally, but this isn't the team to do it. The way they are built, they are going to live and die in close games. Getting angry and frustrated because they weren't up 31-0 at the half is over the top. They might be better on paper than Chicago but the gap isn't what some people want to believe. Look at the Bills. People were picking them as the AFC Champions and they lose to Jacksonville Sunday.
