We all love Hines Ward, but...

What axe? How about this whole freaking thread you started to throw shade on Hines. You say you have no issue with Ward, but then you start a thread about him being a hypocrite. Talk about hypocrisy. Man, you you just defined hypocrisy, there professor.

 

To be fair to Hines. Ben practiced all week and if it's in fact true Ben was third string then the door was left open a crack for him to play. That shouldn't of been the case with concussion symptoms. Another thing to consider is concussions were no where near the concern that they have been recently.

 

I think Hine's comments have merit. As pointed out, he apologized after the fact admitting he didn't have all the information. So his situation was a bit different.

I think part of Tomlin's problem is he's treating and expecting his players to act like grown men. He doesn't have the in-house leadership of players to keep other players in check he once had.

I think we see a different Tomlin next year. The two prime divas will be gone with Bell and AB. I don't call Ben a diva, but he can be overly dramatic.

 

I feel it's time to rid this team of the selfish drama laden players. I hope Burns is gone as well. The issue still lies at the feet of Tomlin which supports this crap. He doesn't seem to me to be a true disciplinarian. Change he better and tighten this ship up. I am hoping the Art II does the right thing and doesn't offer Tomlin a contract extension. Lets see how he responds then.

Hines pound for pound was one of the greatest Steelers ever as far as i'm concerned. If he has something to say, you open your ears and listen. Not much different then anything that is being said on this forum.

If I was a teacher, I might use this thread as an illustration of hypocrisy to teach my students. Anyone know a teacher?

#86 summed up "EXACTLY" what is wrong with the Steelers! And it doesn't really matter what words he chose or how he used them ..... he is 100% correct! And when I heard Mr. Rooney sounding all befuddled as to why someone would refer to the Steelers as a circus, it became clear that we are in for more of the same.

The once proud organization is headed in the wrong direction at an alarming rate!

We will never be able to beat the Patriots in the big games because we are always out-coached ...... They don't make mistakes and we have guys taking penalties for late hits and undisciplined play at crucial times .... just enough to lose the game.

The Steelers are the drama queens of the NFL and this has been building for several years.

The Steelers are one of, if not, the least disciplined teams in the NFL ..... and it costs us a couple games every year.

The Steelers locker room is like a sports version of Golden Girls ..... we have guys saying they don't want to play here because of the inside BS.

Ben is just being a dick because he can, it's become the Steeler way.

Tomlin simply fosters a chicken **** aura around the once proud organization and I am rapidly losing interest.
