Baltimore is a tough team to play defense against, because the QB is such a threat to run it, it's a lot different than shutting down Henry, Barkley etc.

    Yep.

Lamar brings an entirely different dynamic than any other Quarterback. His running ability has to be accounted for. If not, Lamar can do UNIAMGIBALE damage.

No. In the air, he can do unimaginable damage to his own team. :hi:

These kind of exchanges between players and coaches happens more than people think. It just happened that this time it was caught on cameras. It's part of football and nobody should worry about it as long as it dose not continue every game.

Jackson will probably go the route of Vick, RG III, Josh Freeman, Capturedick, etc.

That Ravens defense really props up his success rate at winning games.

Watt probably heard that MT will be getting another 2 year extension and got pissed. Butler was yelling back " i know, but there's nothing that I can do, I'm not Rooney, we both have to deal with it!!!"

I noticed that on Bud and TJ containing strategy that TJ would go after/hit LJ every time and not the RB being faked to while Bud would go for the fake and he was burned by LJ who kept the ball and headed around the end. Looked to me they stopped coming to TJ's side with that play and concentrated on Bud.

Typical nonsense. They both were guilty on a couple plays. I’m not surprised though that some only want to focus on bud Dupree‘s mistakes.

Nobody is focusing only on Bud's mistakes, it's what we saw. In the first half TJ was always going towards LJ every time and Bud was always going toward the running back. On a couple of plays they both got outplayed to the outside but that was a different type of play with the QB holding the ball, going to the outside and pitch option to the outside running back. Different then the fake option to the running back up the middle.

I like both players. If that is what you derive from my honest observation, your wrong. Period.

Bud created a timely turnover. Got in Lamar's head. It was tuck n run Lamar after that, wasn't too eager to read the defense & chance a throw.

I like passion between players but not between player and coach. If player and coach are on different pages, that is seldom a good thing.

It was a frustrating game for a team who typically prides them self on run D. No Alulu and Hilton hurt

Watt had a rough first half. He was not playing disciplined and got beat badly in the run game. It was not normal Watt. No way to spin that.... I'm sure he was well aware of it and none to happy about it. So when the coach gets on your ass you blow off some steam.

Everyone wanted Butler gone 2 years ago... drafted Bush and traded for Minhkah and suddenly he's a defensive genius. It's not secret the key to the 3-4 is up the middle. NT, ILB, and Safety play has to be solid for it to work. I'm very happy management did not listen to the fans about Butler...they addressed the needs so he could run his defense. Two years since we are among the elite on defense. Everyone knows defense wins championships.

There was nothing in that 1st half outside of Spillane's pick six to start, that you liked as a defense, that be both players and coaches.

That was the most rushing yards the Steelers gave up in 1st half in 27 years.

But, they rebounded nicely, and pulled it out.
