Was Mike Adams a disgrace Sunday night?

After watching Oliver Ross who couldnt pass block a lick start at OG/OT here for 5 years before we cut him, guarantees I cant say anything bad about a rookie tackle who has only 4 starts, i'm sure he will become a lot better at pass blocking and i'm sure he wont last here for 5 years like Ross did if he cant...

 

Agreed..Adams is going to be an awesome player just needs to work on his block techniques ive noticed 2 areas he needs to keep lower and square & quicker hands up inside the defenders.. his hands were down too far and Paul was having his way with him all night. Adams will learn through tapes /coaching and time on the field!

 

Thats technique stuff that will come along with experience, I think Adams will improve in each game he plays, thats just rookie growing pains, once he gets it, he is going to be fine at RT..Look at the Bears right tackle Gabe Carimi, he was their first round pick last year, he had a knee injury in his second start last year and missed the rest of the season, but after 10 starts this year 12 career starts he hasnt done a thing and is under heavy criticism by fans and the media in Chicago, and monday night the niners totaly ate his lunch at right tackle and he really caught hell from the fans and media after that game, so Adams isnt even close to 12 starts yet so just give him time and patience and he will get to where he needs to be, Decastro still has to go through what Adams is going through, Decastro wont be a sensation untill he goes through the growing pains and thats just way it is in the pros...

 

I agree I think next year we will see what we really got with Adams. I think we will all like it too
