Good but I really don't care. I'm focusing on keeping who we want and preparing for the draft.

I'm sorry but Wallace is not worth $65 mil but cool young money got his big payday. He will regret leaving the Steelers.

The value for him was he kept teams from playing safeties up close but how many drops and near drops, plus he isn't going to have a QB that will get him the ball all the time, 2 full seasons and he'll be trade bait.

If there is any truth to the rumor the Steelers offered him $50MM over 5 years, the dummy will probably loose money on this deal. After 4 years, the guaranteed money is pretty much collected either way. With Pittsburgh he would have made $40MM. By holding out and taking 3 plus 3 years at the average 12 adds up to $39MM. After that he has a much greater chance of being a cap casualty in Miami. Just some rough numbers.

Agree, how does he improve his game at this point? His game is going vertical. Almost every highlight catch he has is in his body. What? All of a sudden he blossoms into a precise route runner and hands receiver?

He said he had problems staying focused last year, now what?

In his defense he did take that one to the house though but I'm glad to see him go. I don't care that we are rid of him. I am happy actually.

I wish him well. He made some exciting plays and for a time he looked like he would become one of the team's all time great players. Yet he could not get it done in the post season and declined badly last year.

This isn't going to be a great signing for the Dolphins, I predict.

If there is truth to the 5/50 deal offered by Pittsburgh, look at it this way: He lost $8M last year (played for 2 instead of 10) and at his new rate of $13M/yr it will take nearly 3 years to make up that $8M and he will have to wait another year to get to big contract #2. Plus anything could happen in those 3 years including he not making it that far.
Not sure about the guaranteed money of each contract though, and that could change things a bit. But still what he did could still be a bit of a risk.
