    For me I hope this is our pick in the 3rd. DB, WR, or DL in the 1st and 2nd then QB in the 3rd.

    He’s probably a borderline 1st/2nd round talent but for the knee. It’s not an acute knee injury. It’s a problem where the ligament disconnected from the bone due to poor blood flow. It’s been repaired, but there’s no certainty that the surgical fix would be durable. He may be the best pure passer in the draft though.

    I would Have been harping on Him, but unlike some @Blast Furnace ..... I'm not always sure about guys coming back from surgeries. LoL

    He is. But I thought we were transitioning into a running QB. Hence why I don't even look his way.

    Also, I'm terrible at projecting QBs but to my eye he looks by far the best thrower of the ball.

    maybe they are bringing strong in as a contingency plan should someone they like at another position drop to them. then they would truly be looking next year with tomlin leading the way to pick one.

    KC seems to like one guy and MT seems to like one guy, so maybe they settle for one and MT gets to make the pick next year without KC as involved. :cool:

    Gonna grab Mason Rudolph in the 3rd? Where have I heard that before? lol

    I'd be fine with Strong if all we needed was a back up with upside. We need a starter. If we don't go QB in the first or second, I don't want to go QB at all.

    What? Right now we only have 2 QBs on the roster.

    We need to draft at least 1 QB, or it may be 2019 and Duck Hodges all over again. How many UDFA do you want to bring in?

    I think Gentry has some High School QB experience.

    Yeah we need 4 QB's to start camp with. I'd be OK with signing a veteran career backup and then signing an UDFA as the camp arm.

    i got a feeling they like jones from houston. i think they don't want to limit sutton to the slot and they really don't have anyone better. maulet and norwood are not really slot corners. :cool:

    We’ll just keep trading down until we have 10 3rd and 4th round picks, and then start drafting all of the non-QBs who visited.

    Maybe in the 6th or 7th round for Jones, in the early rounds they need a guy who can play outside CB, a ht/wt speed guy something they lack at CB.
