    "The coaching staff trusts Landry"

    Except that Tomlin stated that he had no plans to put Landry in, no matter how bad Vick was playing.
    The injury forced their hand.
    It is very odd that they trusted Landry with an open playbook once he got in, but not enough to replace a QB who had 1 passing yard in the first half.
