Not totally shocking giving his ALS diagnoses last October.


Praying for you Tunch with your battle with ALS.

Tunch is a man of strong faith, I know he will do battle against a terrible disease.

I will miss listening to you on the Radio broadcasts and your in depth analysis over the years!

 

Always liked listening to Tunch. Praying for Tunch and his family during this fight.

 

I use 2 Love watching Him on Fox Sports Beat.
I believe that's what it was called.

I agree 100% Glenn, it is a shame but I also think it is for the best so he can concentrate on his condition. We have talked about last season and his good days and bad days. My heartbreaks for him and for Craig because you could tell how hard it was for him to take the lead role because his best friend and partner couldn't do any more. Thoughts and prayers for Tunch and his family.

 

First Myron, now Tunch, and pretty soon I think Hillgrove will be done (he is over 80)


Part of getting old I guess (on my part), grew up on Myron, Tunch, Billy and, Wolf on the sidelines.

I'm actually surprised Hillgrove is still employed given his incidents.

Why the facepalm? The guy is an alcoholic and I'm sure has been drunk several times on the air. And the driving into the Pharmacy window incident.

And in the thread about Tunch, a guy mentioned how Hillgrove is the only one left and I pondered that I can't believe he's still there. I know I know this is the first time a message in a thread didn't directly adhere to the topic right?

Tunch is fighting for his life and all you’re concerned with is bad mouthing someone. Typical.

Best of luck to Tunch. This is sad news, but not unexpected.

It was clear last year that Tunch was becoming unable to cover the Steelers the way we are all used to.

I will pray for him in his fight with ALS. Thank you for the years of memories as both a player and analyst. Things won't be the same without Tunch.

 

Is Tunch still doing his show with Wolfley? Or completely retiring?
