Try and get a 2nd rounder while he still has value...run with Warren as RB1. McFarland as RB2.

Warren is the new Redman. If he ever gets the feature roll, he will disappoint and then you can all turn on him, too.

Maybe that happens, maybe it doesn't. But the reality is currently Najee Harris is closer to Najeh Davenport than Franco Harris.

Trade Tomlin next for snacks in the Steelers draft room next year. For God sake it's his second year and he has been dealing with a foot injury. Let's get the OL in order before drop him

Benny, you’d laid up in bed with a lisfranc let alone playing football on it.

Blame the coaches for not shutting him down.

So in your opinion Najee should be IR and done for the season?

Would need to know more about which grade it is. He reinjured it the first game of the season but one thing is for sure, Lisfrancs don’t get better playing on them.

Then the staff and coaches are basically committing malpractice...forcing a player to play on a season/career ending injury.

I would sit him down for 6 weeks. The lesser grade is 4-6 week recovery.

I doubt he has the more serious one.

Najee doesn't have it. I've taken dumps that have fought harder than he does. Trade him for a gordita and six pack.

Tomlin is worth multiple first round picks.

The Bucs gave 2 or 3 for Gruden and he was trash. The only reason he won was because of Dungee and top 3 all time defense (somehow with Tomlin).

Dungee promptly went to another bottom feeding organization and turned it around (after getting a top 3 all time QB who also had a statistically horrid rookie season).

I don’t believe at all that Tomlin would go somewhere else and ball out. I think he tanks fast. Dude, like Gruden (was), is made for commentating more than coaching.

How amazing would it be to have 3 or 4 first round picks and two 2nd rounders after we trade Tomlin to the Raiders or Panthers and snatch up Sean Payton as our HC.

The guy would run to play for a stable classy organization under the Rooney’s with all those pics rather than Jerry budinsky Jones.

I think Harris is trying to play through his foot injury. I think he's frustrated with the line blocking, and I think all of it manifests itself with him trying to do too much. This is where coaching can help. Explain to him that Warren is going to get more carries because they want him (Harris) to be able to finish the season. Explain to him that he needs to run more north - south. And assure the guy that he's their feature back next year when they put some young hogs in front of him that will open holes. Let's not get carried away by trading the starting fullback. I've been somewhat disappointed with his performance but there are extenuating circumstances to consider, not the least of which is that this line blows at run blocking.

Every single year I ask myself the same question of how can pretty much every other team in the league afford depth at RB yet we can just have the one back with plumbers as back up.

We choose not to have that luxury which leaves us reliable on the health of one man…. Every single year!

This is dumb. Najee has massively under performed. His value is as low as it gets right now. We have a better chance at sucking this year, fixing the line, and getting production from him moving forward than we do of trading him for something worth it at this point. Its sunk cost.

We had DeAngelo Williams and Conner as back ups for a few years there? Quality back up RB depth is either good pass catching backs who are serviceable runners, or guys on rookie contracts that perform better than their draft status. Not a lot of veteran back ups in the league. Cleveland got lucky that a great player decided to bad things and got a guy on a discount that they never would have gotten in Hunt. Most teams have back ups like we do.
