I just listened to the post game press conference and thinking to myself. I wonder what the answer from Tomlin would be if someone asked him if he thinks he is the right man for the job or does he agree with Haley's play calling. I sure that person would not be back for another post game conference.

Not sure, but I think he "would accept responsibility for it"

Sounds like he has a lot of canned responses like Andy Reid.

Let's not forget that Tomlin wanted to keep BA. The front office and the Rooney's take the fall with Haley.

I find it interesting that hardly anyone mentions Kevin Colbert the GM as a potential problem. How is Baltimore competitive every year? Because they have one heck of a general manager in Ozzie Newsome. Every year teams like New England and Baltimore reload and don't seem to skip a beat. The Steelers offense is a mess right now and Colbert has to take some of the blame. If Tomlin was solely responsible for acquiring players then I would hold him solely accountable but he is not.

One thing you see with consistently good organizations is that they also know when to get rid of players who can no longer contribute or who aren't playing up to par. Belichick had no problem releasing Randy Moss and Brandon Merriweather during the season even though they had Pro Bowl talent.

Mayby KC as GM has ran its course but, I truly believe it's got more to do with Tomlin's coaching, than anything else, Colbert drafted players that went to 3 SB'S in six years, now all of a sudden he cant draft talent .

Did Colbert call for a FG attempt from 53 yards..... yet again, at hines field where that's never been done.... ever? With about 2:00 on the clock? Mind boggling. Punt and pin Cincy deep in their end and you get the ball back with great field position and avoid that costly pick by Ben (maybe).

I will say Colbert should take some responsibility for our lack of roster depth, but there has been plenty of blame to share in this miserable season throughout the entire organization.
