I know it is the rage to bust on the coaches but I think this team has shown that it can make adjustments at the half. The defense shut them down in the second half. The offense was rolling. That running drive for a TD was just so much fun to watch. I might have to watch it again.

Halftime adjustments. We start slow in September and we are finding ways to win

    Overhyped?

Give credit to the Texans. They're a good team who had the bad luck of their beginning schedule being an absolute buzzsaw.

They had us in the first half. Not gonna lie. ;)

Watson is legit. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Plus I am already conditioned to expect the occasional idiotic INT.

Well they were on this board Ray. No way was our poorly coached team going to show up.

Steeler fans will refuse to admit Watson did to us what ben used to do to our opponents.

I mean, having 117 wins coming into this contest with Big Ben proved to me plenty. That said, 118 is much better all the same.

I would take Watson as well!!

The issue is that cap hit he now has. Essentially cannot be traded.

Remember sandlot ben extending plays? That’s exactly where Watson found the majority of his success today

But the comment as written still didn’t make any sense

But now that you explained it, the comment still doesn’t make sense

Steelers dominated the second half, Texans couldn’t move the ball and couldn’t stop the run. Lots of positives to take from it after a very worrying first half. Has the light come on?

3-0 and on to Tennessee. This is exactly where we all wanted to be.

Okay...let's dial that in a bit and we can meet in the middle.

Halftime adjustments. Holy cow, who was that coaching the team and what have you done with Mike Tomlin? Different team in the second half. Play calling got creative and effective. Haven't seen that play with a pulling guard and leading TE on a sweep before. They couldn't stop it. And defensively, to completely shut down Deshaun and co. in the second half was amazing.

One of our big gripes for a long time was Tomlin's inability to make halftime adjustments. If he can keep this up, we're immediately a better team. Cedit goes to Tomlin for that, undoubtedly.

Secondary is still a liability and Watson showed us a little bit of what we'll see against better teams. We won't be able to stop those teams from scoring for an entire half. It will be up to the offense to keep pace with the scoring.

Finally, we played a good team. They are better than 0-3. We found a way to win for 3 straight games now, and that is encouraging. But we're not ready for the big boys yet. I do like where we're at 3 games in, regardless of record, but we've got a ways to go.

But yes, Roonatic, Tomlin is deserving of credit for the product he is putting on the field.
