Big deal, I don't see them winning a Super Bowl this season.

I know Herbert, Rodgers, and Brady can get you a first down on a QB sneak. And you cannot group Herbert in this mix of pocket passers. Herbert rushed for 5 TDs and 20 1st downs. Roethlisberger rushed for 3 1st downs.

My response was not on how good he is or will be, just how much we have sucked.

Shouldn’t have been close, everyone was confident the Steelers would beat them handily and then to lose and after making a SB video while looking past them. That’s pretty embarrassing.

Embarrassing or not, it was a much more painful loss for sure.

These are all the guys that are quite mobile and can avoid the pass rush with their legs when necessary.

    Kyler Murray
    Aaron Rodgers
    Josh Allen
    Russell Wilson
    Patrick Mahomes
    Lamaar Jackson
    Joe Burrow
    Cam Newton
    Daniel Jones
    Dak Prescott
    Carson Wentz & JalenHurtz
    Daniel Jones
    Mitch Trubisky
    Teddy Bridgewater
    Ryan Tannehill
    Deshaun Watson
Tua Tugavailoa (can't spell his name)
    Sam Darnold
    Baker Mayfield
    Justin Herbert
    Drew Lock

    These are the statues

    Big Ben
    Brady
    Brees
    Garappolo
    Goff
    Cousins
    Matt Ryan
    Stafford
    Rivers

It's not even comparable. The list of mobile QB's far outweighs guys who just stand there like Brady and current day big Ben. It's no surprise that a lot of these guys are older and will be moving on. The league is changing and mobile QB's are almost a necessity these days.

I watched the game, my memory just isn't as good as it used to be..I don't remember the video at all...Everyone thought we was gonna beat the Browns prty handily also. I believe Vegas had us scoring more points than any other team wildcard weekend

We won't suck and be doomed if we trade for Watson, until we lose a preseason game and we are doomed and suck yet again.

He can't be that good if we played him and won at their house this year. Just saying.

Steelers were blown out by a team with no coach, who hadn't practiced all week.

As opposed to Neil O'Donnell? The Steelers offense was 16th in the league in scoring, the Chargers were 5th. Steelers defense was 2nd in points allowed, Chargers 9th.

Your perception does not equal reality. I remember that game and season. The Steelers were hot, just blew out the Browns, the Chargers had cooled after a 6-0 start, barely beat Miami.

Plus, this was the official rebirth of the dynasty. We were OWED that Super Bowl. Everyone was on our bandwagon.

But it was fool's gold. The offense stunk, Neil stunk, the defense was vulnerable deep. SF would have eviscerated that team in the Super Bowl. This loss stuck in my craw for a long time, not so much anymore. We were overrated that year. One of the top teams in a ****ty AFC. That's it.

Better teams advance to the AFCC Game. The Chargers were a better opponent than the Browns.

    Take the 'L'.

Sure, but at least half the guys on the first list flat out suck. Maybe there's a reason they're running so much.

They do not suck because they are mobile. They just simply aren't good enough. A lot of those guys are not running QB's, but when the pocket breaks down, or if there's lots of green in front of them, they are mobile enough to take off, rather than just move around the pocket.

Besides, half those guys don't suck. Most are good. I don't think it's fair to judge Tua or Darnold yet. Darnold will probably look good if he wasn't on the Jets. Otherwise, Daniel Jones, Wentz, Bridgewater, Lock, Trubisky and Newton suck. The rest are good to great.

Not sure why some Steelers fans don't want a mobile QB. The game is changing. Defences are so fast, that having a mobile, athletic QB provides the offence with another tool. While it's great to throw it away rather than take a sack, if the QB can scramble for positive yards, that's even better.

There's a reason most of the statue QB's in the league today are older, and the ones that aren't, have really struggled at times. There's really only 3 younger QB's who are true pocket passers that don't really have the ability to take off and run.
