Tomlin Press Conference Wednesday

My guess is Tomlin does not get an extension until Art II sees what happens in 2021.

 

But if I'm not mistaken 21 is the final year of his contract. Unless there's options.

 

Required? I know the NFL has requirements for coaches and players regarding the press...this may or may not be it, I don't know.

 

There is an option for 2022. The article I read said it was a mutual option.

 

Would also be curious to know:

How many offensive turnovers did we have in that 4 game stretch in the 1st quarter?
What was the average opponent drive starting position?

 

Maybe Jeff Fisher is available? After all, it's better to just not make the playoffs if you're not going to win the Superbowl

 

It also raises a bit of revenue. Local Sports Radio and Local TV air the presser, there are sponsors for the broadcast. So the team and the local media make some money off it. Maybe Tomlin does as well.

I praised Lamar Jackson on here before he was drafted and was laughed at on here they’re not laughing anymore.

I'm laughing. If he doesn't win a SB this year it's over for him...once they have 2 pay him, and they can't go out and get every big Defensive free agent out there...like they have done the last 2 years

 

Who would you rather have him or Mason Rudolph?

 

I’ve stirred the pot again all I’m saying is we should have drafted him instead of Edmunds now we’re left with a Qb who isn’t mobile throws picks and Rudolph and Dobbs.

He's a project, who probably won't be ready for a few years, there are much better QB prospects in the 2021 draft.

 

This guy can play football if he doesn’t work out you’ve only spent a 7th round pick on him might even get to sign him as a UFA
