    Started by saying:
Wasn't a perfect body of work, but that's not the concern. A win is.

Said there were significant positives last night.

A gritty game by our guys.

    Injuries:

Ben: Shoulder sprain categorized as a S-C Sprain

All info he has on him right now. Will have more info as the week unfolds.

    Puts him in questionable category.

Antonio Brown is still rehabbing from ankle injury and is questionable.

    Gilbert: Questionable

    Troy: Doubtful

    Sly: Hammy, Questionable

Clark: Appears to be fine. Will be evaluated in terms of particapation.

    Mendenhall: Starting to work, Questionable.

Didn't think Ben re-injured a previous injury when asked.

Not alarmed about Clark's head injury history.

Opponents are namelesss, grey faces to Tomlin. Won't change participation plans based on opponent.

No knowledge of timeline for shoulder sprain recovery at this point.

Focuses on healthy guys and their preparedness.

    Leftwich is starter.

When asked how the playbook/gameplan changes if Leftwich plays vs Be, he said: "I don't know if it does".

Byron said he was rusty last night. Tomlin said if he is the guy, he'll get the time to prepare and "we'll expect him to play winning football."

In regards to Ta'amu getting cut: needed to get Gilreath up, Ta'amu was strictly a personnel move.

'We won't make excuses for injuries.' "Excuses are the tool of the incompetent."

maybe byron and ben could both play. straighten bens arm out and let byron pull it back and let it go. like the kicker/passer on an electric football game.:cool:

This is not good news, but it isn't season ending news either. Ben will sit against ravens and browns for sure. I would be surprised if he sits against the ravens the 2nd time around. If he does, the division is theirs for sure, but we could hang on for dear life to the final wild card spot and play the winner of denver/balt in reg season, who should then have the 3rd seed in the afc. Not ideal by any stretch, but at least it isn't having to compeltely write off the season should ben be out a month. If he is out more than that, game over........
