Boz will be alright. Everyone has bad days. His good days far exceed his bad.

Not sure what that's going to achieve. You watch the plays on film, determine what needs to be corrected, and then work on it. It's not like the kid was just sloughing off and not caring. People make mistakes. Happens.

What would chewing him out have achieved? The guy knows he had a mechanical problem to fix, and he came in wanting to work on it so that it doesn't happen again. He was also just one week removed from going 6-6 on field goal attempts to really bail out our offense, and he has a solid track record overall. There are times when a butt chewing is a good thing, and times where it will not add anything constructive to motivating someone. I'm pretty sure this falls into the latter category.

Not to mention some players don't respond to that coaching tact. Some players respond well to a butt chewing whereas some tune it out. The positional coaches would know how to "handle" each player I would assume. But in this case, Boz knew he messed up and came into the coaches office seeking help. You're not going to lay into him on top of that.

And if you read Rush' post, Boz went to Smith and said lets tae a look at those kicks. He was bothered and eager to fix those mistakes.

Yeah, that sounds like a guy that needs an ass chewing.

My guess is he let Smith handle it and then follows up with Smith and makes sure he agrees
