Donald and kelce were the only unanimous selections. So they will probably name Donald DPOY over watt. Smh.

 

Congrats men, very surprising to me.

 

I don't understand how Watt wasn't unanimous. Anybody who doesn't realize he is a first-team All-Pro doesn't deserve a vote.

 

Well deserved for both!!


Doubly so for Minkah. He now ties Ed Reed, Ronnie Lott, Deion Sanders, Charles Woodson and Rod Woodson for most Defensive Touchdowns in their first three seasons (4). He was worth every bit of that 2020 1st Round Pick that Pittsburgh gave up in 2019.



His fifth year option is due the same. Absolute keeper.

 

It's hard to believe he only cost a first and fifth-round pick.

Earlier in the year there was a lot of Where is Minkah talk....then sometime in late Nov or Dec I read where his actual % of certain play was better, 2019 was something like 57%, this year was 33%. I know that sentence is not lucid as it does not describe the details..and I honestly forget, but the point the author was making is all that talk was BS, Minkah was that much better, if fans could not see it Opposing O's knew.

 

I think the perceived issue was lack of splash plays. He wasn’t taking the ball away like last year, at least not until the first Browns game.

They say that if you don’t hear a defensive backs name during a game that is a positive rather than a negative. I don't watch coaches film or know enough about safety play to say what was going on during that time but I think we are all agreed he is one of the very best in the game and was a great acquisition by the team.

Well done to TJ, Minkah and Cam. I’m surprised Stephon Tuitt did not get any votes, he has double digit sacks and is unplayable at times. The league is stacked with good ILD’s though.

If TJ doesn’t win POTY I will be very disappointed. I totally get giving to Donald, he is unbelievable, but TJ has been on a tear for two years and deserves one. We’ll have to wait and see.

 

Minkah's PFF grade is much higher this year than last, FWIW.

 

We should trade all three of them, so we can have some salary cap in the next few years.

 

I've read several posts saying Minkah can't tackle and he's timid, scared he'll get hurt.
