Hey everyone. I live in Charlotte, NC. I am looking to buy tickets to the Panthers/Steelers preseason game in August. Anyone here have tickets to sell, or have a suggestion about where the best prices online might be. I need 4 tickets.

    Thoughts?

Steelers tickets go on sell at Ticketmaster in a couple weeks I think? As long as Panthers sell on Ticketmaster as well, I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble getting preseason tix there.

I'm sure the prices wouldn't be that bad. Better than StubHub anyways.

Finding a season ticket holder who is willing to sell to you cheap is cheapest option, but do Steeler season ticket holders even get tix to an away preseason game, or would you have to find a Panther season ticket holder?

I'm gonna be in Charlotte this Saturday for Heroes-Con and it's gonna be AWESOME! I always go and eat at the pizza place called "Fuel". It's GREAT! I bet those tickets to that game will be really cheap. I get tix a lot from Craigslist and I've always been done right. Man all this talk of tix is getting me SO pumped! Can't WAIT to go to some games this year! I will at least go to Cincy but I hope to make it back to Pittsburgh this year.

The Steelers and Ticketmaster usually do a limited amount of tickets the sale sometime later this month or maybe July. You should be able to get as many pre-season tickets as you want, or go Ebay many season ticket holders sale their pre-season tickets below face value many times.

I've tried selling very good preseason tickets in the past and got peanuts for them. You should have no trouble getting tickets in Carolina cheap. StubHub, eBay, etc. there will be lots of them.

My uncle is a season ticket holder for the panthers. He always gives me and my son the ones for the Steelers/Panther game. They are always selling them outside the stadium before the game. Most of the time they are $25 or less. Game is never sold out so you can move down for better seats.

I'm sure you'll have a good time. Charlotte has NEVER disappointed me. Fuel pizza is a place I have been to a bunch as my kids love it.

Yeah we've been going to Heroes Con for like the last 3 or 4 years now and it really rocks. Our big comic convention was pretty much done away with so we started doing Heroes Con instead. It only takes us like 4 hours or so to get there and in that convention center all you have to do is walk out the door and Fuel is basically right there. Have you lived there your whole life? That convention has been going on since the early 80s. If your kids are in to comics and games and action figures and stuff you should maybe think about taking them over there this weekend. It's really fun. My wife is about to have our 2nd baby and she said she's REALLY sick of being pregnant and she said "don't you wish she would just come early?" and I was like "well as long as it doesn't cause me to miss heroes con" LOL. She didn't find it too funny though.

I moved here in July 2011. I grew up in the Philadelphia area (hence my love of the Flyers, sorry everyone) and then lived in Virginia for a bunch of years. I started watching the Steelers when I was 1.5 years old and have been a fan ever since.

LOL! CRAP NO! That show gives dorks a bad name! We are actually NOTHING like that. That show is just written by "cool guys" who have a stereotypical view of dorkdom. My wife likes that show and the other night I said "I am nothing like these guys and no one at the comic book store is anything like them either". So then I called my buddy and said that the Big Bang Theory is really unrealistic and he totally agreed but his girlfriend said the reason we felt that way is because we didn't know that we actually do act that way. She's totally wrong.
