The first 10 no names guys get mowed down by the M42 before he figures out the sniper can get cover in the crater. How about this Captain, you are a ranger you lead the way and we will follow!! LOL

Well you gotta slow up to showboat and point at the guy trying to chase you down. None of these dudes could hold Walter Payton's jockstrap with the way the conduct themselves.

All this about Pickins is ridiculous. Another thing that MT should do have a come to Jesus talk with him. Tell how it’s going to be or hit the road. Personally I thought Pickins and Mason were right on last week.

What really bothers me about Pickens is how he thinks he punked everyone. He said he took receipts with the press like they give a damn if he goes to war with them. That's money for the media. He acts like he shut everyone up. We all know he has the talent to put up HOF numbers. Even in games he gets 1 catch and we rage about how the QBs aren't getting him the ball. But it's all about him being a good teammate. He can't catch a pass if the line doesn't block and the QB doesn't throw it to him. It's a team game. When he doesn't block to help a teammate get a TD, it shows he cares about nobody but himself. When he claims the media has no grounds to complain about his lack of effort because they never played football, he is telling them not to believe their lying eyes. Is he claiming Todd Haley has no grounds to comment on NFL players because he didn't play beyond youth football? He was an OC and a damn good one. It's bush league and acting like a spoiled brat.

You owe me another Michelob. Scroll right on the table below and you'll see his snap count and % for each game.

According to PF Reference Pickens has played in 87.6% of the offensive snaps on the year, though it was higher at the front of the season than lately - over the past five games he's taken 82.4%. Apply those to Saturday's game, and he'd have somewhere between 56 and 59 snaps, ~10 more than he had.

Take from that what you will, but interestingly, the only other game this season he had a lower snap share was in Week 11 against the Bengals (75%).

    Code:

I wonder what the reason for the decline was? Discipline, running/pass ratio, scheme, etc.

Not sure. Seems weak for disciplinary. Plus Johnson had his lowest snap count of the season last week (63%) since getting injured in the opener. Canada was fired right before the first Cincinnati game, when it was noted they ran a lot more 13-personnel, which obviously limits the number of WRs on the field. i don't know if they've kept this up, but the change in play callers coincides with Pickens dropping from a mid-80s and 90s snap share to the 82.6% he's had since.

I they were more efficient and were able to dictate when they had him out there with what match-ups. Plus it helped to keep his legs fresh and his mind in the game, not having him out there when he was not getting the ball.

Sounds good but here's the problem.
"Alexander, the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL at $21 million per season, will lose one week's pay. However, because most of his money came in signing and roster bonuses, his base salary is $1.08 million, so he will lose only $60,000 (his weekly game check) plus the $38,235 he gets in weekly roster bonuses if he's active."
    They're doing him a favor.
