Just some of my opinions

 

Nobody plays in preseason

Hammies are typically from hydration and proper stretching, or the lack of. But once they tighten up it's very difficult to get fully back. Seems like every team has multiple players on IR right now because of hamstrings. These players don't want teams to have control of their conditioning and off season workouts. It's on the players.

But at this point it makes no financial sense for PS to play at Heinz Field

Pitt should just agree to play up at Penn State they would make more money and get to play in front of a real crowd

Joe Butrow is a giant fragile China doll. Lamar Jackson needs punched in his diamond teeth. Myles Garret should be in prison. And just my opinion.

 

The Steelers are very fortunate to be in the AFC North this year.

 

It sure is looking that way as long as that nasty injury bug doesn't rear its head.

1.) I don't think Pat is nearly as infallible as other may believe as far as a trade candidate is concerned. If Pittsburgh had the option to trade away the likes of Pat Freiermuth for say, someone like Chris Olave, I'd bet that Pittsburgh would pounce on that trade straight up. However, I don't see the team doing so barring some extreme circumstances.


2.) Highsmith will still get a majority of the snaps. However, I don't expect him to finish out the season. While this is harsh, Highsmith gets injured too much and too often. This is now back to back seasons where he has suffered both groin and ankle injuries. I would like him to finish out the 2025 but I have every reason to believe he will not. Unlike Pat though, you cannot trade Highsmith for there isn't anything behind Nick Herbig and merely hoping and praying for Jack Sawyer to round into another Nick Herbig is truly a leap of faith.


3.) Most importantly from me, as far as trade partners are concerned, Jackson Powers Johnson has fallen out of favor with Pete Carroll and the Raiders. I would give up a 4th Round Pick for him given how Pittsburgh did have interest in him last season. In addition, he could potentially be the long term solution to Issac Seumalo as I don't think Isaac will be back next season. Even if JPJ doesn't take Isaac's spot, Mason McCormick can given how he has played over 3k snaps at the position from his days at South Dakota State. Plug JPJ in on the right side and that is a very good foundation for the future.

IMO Steelers should have damn cheerleaders in very skimpy black and gold uniforms. Game gets out of hand Jeh can train his binoculars on them.

I agree with all ,but Goodell sucks. I don't like that he has hamstrung the Defenses, but nobody can say he hasn't made the game more popular, and that's what he gets paid for.

 

Nobody cried when we had 4, or 5 starters out, and the 49ers are still winning with all their starters out.
