Not to mention we know what you would've replaced the Heinz Ketchup Bottle with. :lolol:

I'm sorry it was such a drag, but man I’m still jealous. You got to check an item off my bucket list. Cool that you got to see Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s a great venue. I watched WVU get smashed by Duke there in the final four one year.

Karl, you must have some cool stories of things you saw at the combine over the years. Were you there to see Dion Sanders run the 40 then leave (as the legend goes)?

It’s not like Beetlejuice. Repeatedly saying his name won’t make him appear.

I live an hour and a half from LOS and go each time the Steelers are in town. I've been to several away stadiums and it is by far my favorite. I highly recommend the experience for any Steelers fan that has not been there yet. I would love to catch just one game there with the roof open though. I'll keep working on that.

The tales of the nightlife are probably more exciting. :) "That time Mike Mayock.."
I did not see the Deion Sanders deal, as I recall I had to take an early flight back home to attend a wedding.
I remember seeing him early on and thinking 'that dude is fast'
Later on, enroute to the 92 Super Bowl win, Atlanta was coming to Washington to play in what would be called the seat cushion game.
Sanders and McKyer? talked a lot of smack, even though Mark Rypien tore through them during the season in a bombfest..
The result were the same, The Ripper bombed them into oblivion on offense and the Falcon offense just turned the ball over.
Up to the point, I didn't think much of him.
Then he went to the 49ers, where I thought he was best at, though it was just for a year.

As a baseball player, I always thought that would be where he would be best, even as good as a career as he had in the NFL.

Lol I’m sure those nightlife stories are awesome. I’ve always liked Mayock.

I remember that 92 Redskins team well. Seemed like Rypien could do no wrong. They just gashed everyone (except the Steelers as I recall?) all season.

As for “Primetime” the baseball player, he was a part of the Braves so my brain has blocked him. I watched them beat my beloved buccos in person for both games 6 and 7 of the 1991 NLCS then watched every pitch of that painful Sid Bream debacle on tv in 1992.

We went last year and the Colts fans behind us were telling us how great it was with the roof open. Said they don't open it unless it's >74 degrees outside. Hoping the Steelers play there in Sept or early Oct some day.

SDOT is a legend around here. His posts are never boring and I still agree with him that Harrison is a traitor. Leaving the Steelers for the Patriots was epic blasphemy. So glad the Eagles won that Super Bowl.

SDOT is a tool and Tomlin screwed Harrison.

James is a beast though and should be our conditioning coach.

I do think it was a bit of a middle finger to some of the high ups in Pittsburgh, but his teammates or the fans. I think he just wanted to show he had more in the tank to offer than what was trying to mined with our team.
