    between, it's the preseason and;

    1) your team is knocking off the rust, making some mistakes, etc BUT, the staff and the guys, still all compete! Not perfection at all! But learning lessons.

    and

    2) An Apathetic Coaching staff who obviously have their heads hiding from that bright ball in the sky! They looked just like last season (all the same glaring issues) and failing to address that the main issue on the field (O Line) is the most obvious!

    #1 is where over half the league sits during this time and they will improve.

    #2 (like it sounds) becomes a steaming pile of excuses, ignorance and idiocracy.

    Solution: Fire Tomlin (and his staff) and the "Con" man!

    "Con" that was funny. Now hold on, as you can see all over the board Omar is kind of loved at the present moment. Members liking his moves. He is the Wizard of Khan. As we all know it is a what have you done for me lately league. I'm sure we all hope his wizardry works but we'll re-visit this in the New Year.

    Who on here remembers how pretty much everyone was saying how the offense is going to struggle early? Now some of you act surprised.

    Still a more true demonstration of the offense than what last season was

    Two rookies and potentially a 2nd year left tackle shouldn’t be problem for anyone.

    I wouldn't be worrying too much if we still had two more preseason games...

    This emphasis on not practicing or scrimmaging is killing the quality of the NFL.

    It's a "what have you done for me lately" society we live in today. Instant gratification. Obviously there is going to be growing pains with a new OC, QB, LT, C, RT, WR corps, etc.... But since the starting offense looked bad for a few quarters in a preseason game after practicing together for about a month, we suck, we're going to suck all season, and everyone that is responsible needs to be fired immediately... lmao

    The talking heads don't know anything. Arthur Smith has been a successful OC in the league before. He was a good enough OC to get an opportunity to be a HC.... So Smith obviously has done something right. It isn't the same scheme. They're just saying that because Canada's offense was garbage and our starting offense has looked like garbage in a couple quarters of preseason football. Our line is young. It won't be perfect, but it will get better. We have a lot of TALENT on the line, so there is no reason to think that some of these young guys (if not all of them) will improve and turn out to be really nice players. This is far from the best iteration of this offense that we will see.

    Keep in mind this is a new scheme/OC, new QB's running it, 2 new WR's split out wide, a new LT (Jones should start), a new C, a new RT.... We can't expect this unit to be perfect yet. It will get better, they all just need some time to gel and really get this thing into gear. Smith is a professional and has put together a number of good offenses. We should be fine.

    100%, the collective bargaining agreement that effectively killed padded practices has hurt big time.

    I have to agree, I am a firm believer that reps are required in preseason to toughen
    one up and get in football shape.
