The Steelers should've kept George Pickens for this season

Considering all the moves they made this offseason they seem to be going for it, that would've really made them to be all in on this season. Even though he's a pain in the butt to deal with. With Pickens they would be a top 3-4 team in the AFC the other top teams just have younger QBs.

    You are wrong

Pickens would have made the team worse he was a cancer

They are trying to put together a team with a winning attitude

I don’t expect you to understand this

But this is on your top ten dumb posts

I can't change Your mind, but outside of what we seen on the field, which was bad enough, he must have been worse off the field for them to let him go already, there had to be a lot going on behind scenes. Because we know they don't let go of talented trouble as fast as they did him.

The off the field issues were definitely the deciding factor on him being traded. Pickens as a player is very good. Our team would unequivocally be better with him on the team.... but the tantrums and unprofessionalism could have caused problems so idk. We will never know what the locker room truly felt about him, but he was definitely a risk to extend (or even just to let the contract ride). I think his talent was worth that risk... but I don't blame them for trading him though.

On the surface, I agree with you. This is one of those things that makes great sense on paper. However, from a lot of the hearsay and rumors, GP's continued presence on the Steelers roster may have actually been detrimental to the team. We all know that GP tended to half-ass any play that he wasn't directly involved in. He also was rumored to not be happy when he was not getting the passes he felt he deserved. So with Metcalf on the team, you can bet that GP would feel he should be getting more passing and deserve more money. I think that would lead to him causing a lot of drama within the locker room.

The loser would stop running/blocking/playing *during* live play, and then gloat about it! How can anyone justify keeping that kind of a loser?

It would've made them a more dangerous team and their opponents wouldn't be stacking the box to stop the run either.
